TPO Account Executive
Job Description
I. OVERVIEW:
Under the direction of TPO Leadership, our Account Executive would work directly with TPO Clients to help increase production for our Third-Party Origination business channel. We want to see our team take a “Production Coach Mindset” and approach. Through one-on-one coaching of MLO’s who are employed with approved Third-Party Originators, we want to provide tools on a regular basis focused on helping those MLO’s grow their business. Historically Account Executives have taken more of a pipeline manager type approach to creating value for their TPO Clients, we want to see more of a “Production Coach” approach with the primary focus being to help the individual Mortgage Loan Officer grow their personal production. The Account Executive must have flexibility and capacity to understand the everchanging nature of the markets they serve.
II. EXPECTATIONS:
- Be an informative source for product knowledge & updates, workflow policy and procedure, as well as helping each TPO Client they support exceed minimum quality and quantity standards.
- Correspond and communicate with the TPO Clients frequently keeping track of career and life events while developing relationships with the leaders and their entire teams.
- Work closely with corporate departments (Production, Production Support, & TPO Operations) to identify areas of improvement in the division and corporate level.
- Routinely add new TPO Clients to our platform while improving market share from our existing TPO Clients.
- Always meet or exceed minimum production standards.
- Other duties, as assigned.
III. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
- This is a traveling role (25% – 50%).
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5+ years of experience in an Account Executive (or related) role.
- Sales experience in the mortgage; real estate industry.
- Previous Loan Officer or Loan Processor experience a plus.
- Measured progress based off TPO Client retention and increased production per TPO Client.
- Exhibit excellent technology skills, including Microsoft Office, common TPO platforms such as Loan Sifter, both mortgage Point of Sale and Loan Origination Software.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Display excellent time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated judgment and decision-making ability.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment.
